School Budget

The Dedham Public Schools relies on annual operating and capital budgets to provide a wide range of services and programming for students and staff.

The operating and capital budgets are developed annually by the DPS administrative team and the School Committee’s Budget Subcommittee. The Office of Finance and Operations coordinates the budget development process, manages the use of the budget to ensure District goals and objectives are met, monitors revenue/expenses throughout the fiscal year, and provides regular reports on the budget to the School Committee and the community.
