Did you know that everyday, students just like you are helping to answer real scientific questions? And they’re having fun too! From searching the ocean’s depths to tracking down insects to examining faraway galaxies, using data sheets and smartphones and online games, citizen scientists are engaged in a variety of interesting activities. Welcome to the project handbook for Dedham’s District-Wide Citizen Science Expo!
To participate in the science expo you need to be in either 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade. You can work on your own or with someone in the same grade, but either way you each need to submit a proposal sheet with guardian permission by the deadline below. Then on the day of the expo, projects will be shared with the community!
All students who participate in the Citizen Science Expo will receive a certificate to recognize this achievement.
