Dr. Henry, an educator and published author, was our first speaker in the DEIJ Speaker Series at DHS. This was a wonderful and well received opportunity for students to talk about identity/race in the classroom.

The opportunity for our students to share and discuss their perspectives on issues central to teaching and learning in our district is critically important in creating an environment in which all are welcome and we are continuously improving our practice.
