The DHS Debate Club provides students with an opportunity to practice constructing persuasive arguments, gather evidence, speak in public, formulate an opinion, and discuss current events. It is a way for those who hold opposing view to discuss controversial issues without descending to insult, emotional appeals, or personal bias.
