  • PERFORMING ARTS COMPANY

    The Performing Arts Company (formerly known as the Drama Guild) is open to all students, from beginner to expert. All phases of production will be taught, and students will get a very hands-on approach to theatre including acting, stage managing, lighting, sound, costume, and set design. Drama Club presents a Fall and Spring Production, and also produces a one-act play to compete in the Annual Mass. Dramafest.

  • SCIENCE OLYMPIAD TEAM

    Dedham High School Science Team is in the West Suburban Science League (WSSL) Fun competitions are held monthly. This year the competitions will be held virtually. Students compete in groups made up of 2-4 students. Competitions change each meet and they range in disciplines.

  • SPEECH AND DEBATE

    The DHS Debate Club provides students with an opportunity to practice constructing persuasive arguments, gather evidence, speak in public, formulate an opinion, and discuss current events. It is a way for those who hold opposing view to discuss controversial issues without descending to insult, emotional appeals, or personal bias.   • STUDENT COUNCIL

    The Student Council encourages students to take an active role in planning, coordinating, and participating in activities that will promote school spirit and better their community. The Council members assume leadership roles to learn skills that are transferable to the workplace and community. The Student Council welcomes new members and is open to all interested students.
