Dedham Public Schools announced the appointment of Dr. Sara Stetson as the Dedham Public Schools Assistant Superintendent for Student Services, effective July 1, 2022. Sara was the consensus top choice from a talented field of candidates during her finalist interviews and site visit. We are thrilled that Sara will be able to work with DPS Special Education Director Liza O’Connell in the next few months to coordinate a smooth transition and entry into our district. Please join us in welcoming Dr. Sara Stetson to the Dedham Public Schools community!

On February 14, 2022, Dedham Public Schools launched a new DEI& Conversation Series program at DHS, with the goal of offering students authentic representational voices and experiences. The first event featured Anthony Valentine of Valentine Inspires KLTR, a motivational speaker for youth on self-esteem, diversity, anti-bullying, self-love, and overcoming obstacles.
Dedham Public Schools privacy and data policies ensure that the District is ethically and legally protecting student safety and student information, including student work. Protecting students from harm--identity theft, harassment, and unauthorized data collection-- are critical concerns. As an educator, it is our job to ensure our students are protected in this manner.
