Registration for the Thomas J. Curran Early Childhood Education Center 2025-2026 kindergarten class is now underway. In order to be enrolled as a kindergartner in the Dedham Public Schools for the 2025-2026 school year, a child must be five years old on or before August 31, 2025.

President Biden has declared next Thursday, Jan. 9, 2025, to be a National Day of Mourning following the passing of former President Jimmy Carter, who at 100 years of age, died on Dec. 29, 2024. While some federal offices may be closed - Dedham Public Schools will be open and will follow a regularly scheduled school day.

We want to keep you informed about recent changes regarding graduation requirements following the passing of MA Ballot Question #2 which asked voters if they supported eliminating the Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System (MCAS) exam as a high school graduation requirement. As a result of Tuesday's election, 59% of voters supported Question #2 by voting “Yes.”
The Tax Impact Calculator is a new informational tool to the Town of Dedham that has been designed to help residents and taxpayers estimate future tax bills, both with and without the proposed Oakdale Elementary School Building.
