  • Free, virtual event titled "If They Had Known" - August 20th

    Newton-Wellesley Hospital Child Psychiatry and Substance Use Service Teams are offering a free, virtual event titled "If They Had Known" on August 20th at 7:00pm. This event features a documentary screening, via Zoom, followed by presentations and Q & A with expert panelists including clinicians from the NWH Child Psychiatry and Substance Use Services Teams, a Recovery Coach, and a Pharmacist/Parent.   • Fall Plan: Live Webinar with Q&A Hosted by Supt. Welch

    Dedham is hosting a live Q & A Zoom EVENING webinar tonight (7/30) from 7:00 - 8:00 PM. Faculty, Staff, and Students are welcome to join. Participants will be able to type and submit questions to Supt Welch directly via the Q & A zoom function, and he will do his best to answer them live with information we currently have. This webinar will be recorded and posted on the DPS website for those unable to join live.

  • Dedham Public Schools Family Engagement Initiative Summer 2020

    The Dedham Public Schools and Dedham Youth Commission have partnered to create a supportive forum for all PreK-12 parents and caregivers.This is an opportunity to share and receive support from two mental health professionals and other parents and caregivers in the community.   • UPDATE on Schools in Sept - Guidance from DESE

    Today - June 25th - the MA Department of Elementary and Secondary Education released its Initial Fall School Reopening Guidance. This work is based upon the current available research available at this time, and this guidance will be updated in late July. It is very comprehensive and includes a goal of safely returning as many students as possible for in-school learning in the fall. Read more by clicking the link above.
