Following guidance and approval from the Dedham Board of Health and the Dedham School Committee, Dedham Public Schools confirmed that students would soon begin returning in-person to classrooms. The schools will follow the previously outlined phased return approach with a two-week delay, making some adjustments for its youngest students in Preschool and Kindergarten. Some Dedham preschool students are now tentatively scheduled to return in-person to school beginning as early as October 1, 2020. Kindergarten and designated “high needs” students would begin returning to classrooms on Monday, October 5, 2020 assigned in Hybrid or for four days per week schedules. All other Dedham students will begin phasing into a Hybrid in-person/remote classroom model in the weeks thereafter.

The food service staff is back to school making great school meals for the community! They will provide bags containing a variety of meals for distribution for families to enjoy at home. ALL MEALS ARE FREE FOR ALL CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 21 IN THE DISTRICT. Learn more by clicking above.
Office hours will provide dedicated time for families to ask questions and hear answers from Dedham faculty on student use of Zoom and Google Classroom in the remote learning environment. These office hour sessions are intended to focus on the technical skills necessary to use the technologies effectively.
