Dear Parents, We are excited to have online licenses to Lexia Reading. This license allows for a limited number of concurrent users. The limit is based on who is logged into the system at one time whether at home or at school. It is very important that we have use of the licenses at school during the school day; therefore I request that your son or daughter use the program at home before 8:30 a.m. or after 3 p.m. There may be limited exceptions to this. Lexia is research proven to be successful for all early readers and with the RTI Model we employ if used regularly and monitored by our excellent teachers. In order to use Lexia at home you must have a computer that meets some minimum requirements and an internet connection. Additionally, you must load the program onto your computer following the instructions. To complete this you will need the Customer Code. You must email our home technical service account to obtain this code. This process is necessary to ensure that only Dedham Public Schools students use the program and to help us keep track of our licensing. We will do our best to provide you with technical support regarding the loading of Lexia Reading. Please be sure to include your name, child's name, school, grade and phone number in the email in case we need to call you.
