The 150th Birthday Celebration:
The Alumni Birthday Party celebrating DHS's 150th year was a HUGE success. More than 300 alumni spanning the years between 1930 and 2002 attended the event, held at Moseley's on the Charles. The room was beautifully decorated with Balloons from "Don't burst my Balloon" by Nanci Kiesel Rhodes ('70). We had a delicious dinner, dancing to the Music of Majic, and a Silent Auction (headed by Janet Caccia O'Connell ('68)) which raised more money for the Alumni Association than the ticket sales! President Tom Clinton ('67) made a Presentation to Jerry Varnum for his contribution in initiating the formation of the Alumni Association and we finished the night with a Huge Cake donated by our own Konditor Meister Alumni, Steve Clifford ('77 ). Everyone is asking when will we do this again and we hope you will join us for future events. |
