Good evening parents, this is Superintendent June Doe calling to announce that all Dedham schools are cancelled for tomorrow, Thursday. The snow forecast for tonight into the morning hours again raises safety concerns that the schools' driveways, parking lots and neighborhood sidewalks around the schools will not be ready for school to open. This unusual pattern of snowstorms has placed a considerable burden on the the DPW as to the management of snow removal. We consult with them throughout these storms and once again the safety concerns for our students riding on school busses and our walking students necessitates a cancellation. Again, I appreciate your patience and understanding.
